TOWN councillors have lent support to residents who have objected to temporary offices being sited on the main car park.
Residents and shopkeepers believe if the planning application is approved by Stratford District Council, the vitality of the town will be harmed as car parking spaces will be lost.
Mayor Eric Payne said: "Residents are up in arms about these proposals and we, as councillors, also strongly object to it.
"We have sent objections to the district council and sent suggestions for where these offices can be more suitably sited."
