I AM disappointed that the Labour group, their supporters and indeed our MP, Mike Foster, tried to spin the employment land issue for short-term political gain.
Personal attacks simply show that they have nothing constructive to say. They have misled the public by saying that Green Belt was to be built on.
Mike Foster called Conservative councillors liars. I trust he will now have the decency to apologise.
After considering all options, the city council has decided not to put forward any more green land sites.
We are determined to ensure that the land and space we do have is properly used before more green land is built on. That is common sense.
