A COUPLE accused of theft and perverting the course of justice had their cases committed to Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday December 20.
Alan and Theresa Stevens are charged with the theft of a cash box containing £1,502.67 from Martin's Newsagents, Droitwich.
They are alleged to have committed the offence between Friday October 6 and Sunday October 8. They did not enter a plea.
Theresa Stevens, aged 43, of Crofter's Green, Droitwich, and Alan Stevens, 44, of Edgbaston, are also charged with perverting the course of justice. They will appear at the city court on February 5.
