IT was bear hugs all round when a furry friend popped in to see village pupils.
Burkey Bear paid a flying visit to Cutnall Green CE First School, in School Lane, to promote an exciting competition.
The school has been invited to design a comic strip about Burkey Bear and his friends who have adventures helping people move house.
The school was handed a competition pack and staff are now keeping fingers crossed that pupils will scoop first prize - £5,000 worth of computer equipment.
Headteacher Michele Humphreys said: "The children enjoyed the visit and are looking forward to entering the competition in the New Year."
