POLICE and fire investigators are still uncertain what caused a fire that destroyed a shed at Moreton Youth Centre.
The fire was reported at 12.09am on Christmas Eve and firefighters arrived to find the wooden shed at the side of the building well alight. The shed and its contents, which included chairs, tools and other equipment, was destroyed, while a neighbouring shed was also damaged by the flames and the youth centre walls left blackened and several windows smashed.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated, but police say that they have not ruled out the possibility that it was started deliberately.
