AN Asian man was the victim of an unprovoked racist attack at a fast food van in Kidderm-inster in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police are "urg-ently" seeking witnesses to the assault in New Road at 2am, which left the man with a badly bruised and swollen face and needing three stitches to a cut in his lower lip.
He had left Mirage nightclub and was talking to the owner of the food van when his attacker, who had been waiting in the queue, hit him in the face and walked off with two or three other men after making a racist comment.
The attacker is described as white, about 5ft 8ins tall, of broad build with black hair and wearing a black shirt.
