THE Road Safety Team has, for a number of years, pursued sponsorship for the School Crossing Patrol Service.
The sponsorship has provided uniform coats that carry the sponsor's logo. We are currently carrying the Vick's Vital logo on the back of the School Crossing Patrol's winter coat.
Before that, we have had coats supplied by Butler Oils and prior to that, we had coats supplied by Auto Glass. I quite agree with Mr Gregory of Worcester that these kind of deals go a long way to supporting our operation.
The type of coat that a school crossing patrol person wears is regulated by the Home Office and need to be in a pristine condition at all times.
They are in constant use and therefore they do not last more than a couple of years before we have to consider replacing them. So support of this type is always welcome.
