THE West Malvern Village Hall 100 Club's special £50 Christmas Prize has gone to a notable and appropriate winner in Miss Maud Biggin.
One of the village's oldest inhabitants (in both senses!) Miss Biggin recently celebrated her 90th birthday. And the 'recycled' Christmas cards she has made for many years now are yet again on sale in the church. Winners of the three regular prizes were: first, Brian McConnell, second Mrs Gill Bennett and third Mrs E M Turner.
And don't forget the Carols by Candlelight service in St James's Church starting at 6.30pm on Sunday (December 17).
