RESIDENTS are looking forward to good tidings on Monday when Bromsgrove planners are set to scrap a scheme to extend a nursing home.

Plans include re-developing Breme House, in Churchfields Road, which families living behind the property feared would lead to the loss of privacy, sunlight and cause traffic chaos.

They also felt the changes would devalue their homes and were concerned about the loss of trees and a boundary hedge.

Nearly 20 letters of objection have been sent to Bromsgrove District Council and experts have recommended its planning committee refuse the project.
