HOLDERS Mickleton Rangers crashed out of the Evesham Mechanical Services Subsidiary Cup, losing out to Second Division Red Horse.

The Horsemen led at half time with goals from Slade and Stone. Rangers, though, fought back and a Tye goal gave them hope but their opponents hung on to record an excellent Evesham Sunday League scalp.

Lower Moor United triumphed over Servicemen's in a game of 14 goals. Haines (3), Smith (2), Cooper (2), Johns and Attwood scored for Lower Moor with Malin (3) and Jelfs (2) replying for the visitors.

Favourites Bretforton VIC reached the last eight of the Tewkesbury Sports Knockout Cup with a comfortable win over Ashton. Reeves, Malins, Jones and Gregory were the men on target.

Awaiting the VIC in the last eight will be Moreton Wanderers who overcame a spirited performance from Offenham Rovers. Matt Winter hit a hat-trick for the winners.

Willersey reached their third quarter- final of the season when victory over Ambassador booked their place in the last eight of the Black & White Garages Bluck Cup. Andy Beale was the hero with a hat-trick.

Guiting Rangers went to the top of Division One after coming from 2-0 down to defeat Pebworth.

Hollands and Coles put Pebworth in the driving seat but Rangers hit back through Arkell, Stroud and Goodall.

Fairfield Flyers and Anchor Fladbury shared the spoils in the day's sole surviving second division game.

Flyers led through a Reading effort before Goode levelled for Anchor.

In Division Three, Littleton defeated Swan Sports after a seven-goal thriller with goals from Scorer, Harris, Smith and Paul with the Swan replying through Tomkotowicz (2) and Peters.

Stratford Yates hit eight against struggling Shipston Sports with Proctor, Willis, Giorgio and Goulding among the goals. Honeybourne Gate, meanwhile, produced their best performance of the season with a 4-3 win at Plum Tree.

Division Four leaders Broa-dway United Reserves secured a narrow victory over Bretfor-ton Old Boys.

Roulstone gave United an early lead before Bretforton hit back with goals from Wright and Griffiths. A serious leg injury to Griffiths delayed the game for 20 minutes before Roulstone equalised.

Chris Jelfs restored the visitors' lead before two goals in the last 15 minutes from Roulstone and Prater clinched the points.

Goals from Martin and Hussell gave Ashton Reserves victory at Haven Harriers.
