The A449 between Summer-field and Black Bridge, near Kidderminster, was closed after an arson attack caused £3,000 damage to two cars.
Police had to set up a diversion along the A442 during the incident at Torton Villas, Hartlebury last Thursday.
A Land Rover was set alight at 9.20pm and the blaze spread to a Ford Fiesta parked alongside.
