STAFF at Batsford Arboretum say there's no such thing as a free lunch - certainly not at the arboretum on Boxing Day.
Yet callers who fancy a tree-lined stroll to walk off all that Christmas Day turkey will be treated to a glass of free PUNCH if they visit the arboretum on December 26.
They have already had calls from several people who had mistakenly heard about a free LUNCH and wanted to know when it was being served, but managers say hungry visitors will go home unfed as the only refreshments will be of the liquid variety.
Boxing Day opening hours at the arboretum off the A44 between Bourton-on-the-Hill and Moreton are from 11am to3pm.
