FOR the second consecutive week the Malvern Council closed the football pitches due to the ground being waterlogged, the decision being totally vindicated when Saturday's downpour came along.
Rangers' home fixture versus Kempsey was one such casualty and Kempsey were unwilling to switch the fixture with the problems they encountered the previous week with players having difficulties getting to Kempsey because of the severe flooding.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Rangers are again scheduled to be at home when their opponents are Hallow WMC for a Worcester League Premier Division fixture kick off 2.15pm, players to meet at Victoria Playing Fields 1.30pm.
