MOTORISTS left fuming because of rush-hour gridlock (Evening News, Wednesday, November 8).
How sad. Surely that's a very negative attitude?
Crossing the City Walls Road bridge at 4.30 on Tuesday, I wondered whether to drive to near the motorway and park for a couple of hours or join the fuming throng. The latter was chosen and enjoyed.
I really had a good laugh on Bath Road. All those motorists with their posh cars standing stationary, getting nowhere fast when along comes a lad on crutches, passing the whole stream. Should we all buy a pair?
But, joy upon joy - on City Walls Road there was a Union Flag, fluttering in the breeze on Fownes Hotel. Thank you Fownes Hotel. If someone can be induced out to dinner, you have the booking. Keep it flying.
