CORRESPONDENCE between two great women of the 20th Century forms the basis of Vita and Virginia at Tewkesbury's Roses Theatre next week.
Actress and playwright Eileen Atkins, co-creator of Upstairs Downstairs and The House of Elliot, has created the work and starred in the original West End production.
Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West enjoyed a passionate 22 year friendship and moved in the foremost literary and artistic circles. Amanda Waldy takes the role of Vita and Jenny Tarren appears as Virginia in the Not the National Theatre Production, on Wednesday (November 22) at 7.30pm.
