A JAZZ band that started out as an amateur college combo on Liberation Day (May 5, 1945) is still going strong and about to appear in Worcester.
The Dutch Swing College Band has existed in various guises over the years and has grown into a World-famous jazz ensemble that has toured five continents.
The music has evolved and the personnel have changed, but the band remains the showpiece of Dutch traditional music.
Current line-up of this highly experienced band continues to produce professional performances of international standard.
It can be heard at Huntingdon Hall on Thursday, November 23 at 8pm. Tickets are £12 (concessions £10). Box office: 01905 23428.
