It was the Cotswolds side best performance of the season and a 3-0 interval lead ensured a comfortable second period as Studley tightened up a leaky rearguard.

Clair Edmunds, Sarah Bragg and Shirley Aubrey were the first half goal getters but it was midfielders Annette Cunningham and Gill Rigg who caught the eye after the break.

Their efforts paved the way for Sally Holmes and Aubrey, with a powerful strike from the top of the D, to add two more goals to the tally in a deserved win.

The Pyments of Campden Ltd visitors made it two wins in two days with a hard-fought 2-1 triumph over Shipston.

It was the Shipston defence that earned the late plaudits leaving the visitors to settle for the narrowest of wins.
