Evesham and District Airgun League

LEAGUE leaders Stanton Club took on the team in third place, Campden RBL. And, after a close match, it was Stanton who took both points with Jackie Laming scoring 48 for Stanton and Bob Pitcher 49 for Campden.

Second in the table, Lygon Arms, took on Badsey Rec with the home team securing an easy win by 12 points. James Cuthbertson scored 49 for the Lygon and Stuart Moore 47 for Badsey.

Badsey RBL travelled to Offenham RBL but found the home team too strong and lost by seven points with Jamie Beadle scoring his first maximum of the season for Offenham and Brian Jelfs a 49 for Badsey.

George and Dragon took on Evesham SMC but lost by 17 points with John Wilks scoring 46 for Evesham and Guy Stephenson 45 for the George.

Hampton WMC played host to Bidford RBL and recorded their first victory of the season. Dave Ayres and Steve Mayhall both scored 45 for Hampton and John Collins the same for Bidford.

The last match was between Wickhamford SSC and Fairfield Nomads with Wickhamford gaining a 14-point victory with Dean Baglin scoring 48 for Wickhamford and Gareth Bostock 44 for the Nomads.
