TWO further finals in the 2000 Wychavon Parish Games took place last week.
On Tuesday, the final of the ladies' darts took place at Avonside Hospital Social Club. This was a repeat of the crib final being between Evesham Hampton and Pebworth.
This was a very close final with many of the games going to three legs. Eventually, Evesham Hampton won the final game to take the trophy.
Last Friday night, the final of the skittles took place at Littleton and Cleeve Prior Royal British Legion club between Harvington and Evesham Central.
Having won the toss, Harvington chose to bowl first and built up a lead of 12 in the first leg. Although Evesham Central came back at them, they never managed to overtake Harvington, who eventually won by 30 points.
The remaining two finals - dominoes and pool - were scheduled to take place this week.
The presentation evening will take place on Friday, November 24 at Avonside Hospital Social Club.
Presentations to the 2000 Wychavon Sports personalities will take place on the same night.
