A JASON Rostill header after ten minutes was enough to give Kings Heath a 1-0 win over Highgate last night (Wednesday).
Rostill headed home a right wing corner before the hosts weathered the storm in atrocious conditions as Highgate twice rattled the woodwork before half time.
Despite being camped in the Heath half for the last 20 minutes Highgate could not force an equaliser.
Mark Cartwright returned up front for the Kingsmen after three weeks out with a hamstring injury and partnered occasional striker Jason Phillips.
And midfielder Colin Campbell suffered no reaction after playing the last ten minutes in his comeback bid from an achilles problem which has sidelined him for six weeks.
Massey Ferguson are the visitors to Lye Meadow on Saturday (ko 2.45pm) in a change to the advertised fixture and the Birmingham Senior Cup trip to Stratford Town on Tuesday kicks off at 7.45pm.
