6 NO one has suffered more irritation at George Cowley's comments than myself over the last few weeks. But where have all these people suddenly sprung from who wish to deny him his right of opinion and free expression?
They should remember the value in a belief or opinion is not necessarily in its truth but in its passion and commitment. And whatever else we may think, George Cowley certainly has an abundance of these qualities.
If Peter Burgess (address supplied) can't accept the comments of others with whom he disagrees without threatening to withdraw his subscription to this newspaper, then he is without fair-mindedness and charity and maybe needs to move to Burma or a strict Islamic State.
