HARD WORKING pupils have put a Rubery school in the top 100 most improved in the country.

Waseley Hills High School and Sixth Form Centre made it into the secondary performance tables which show the most improved facilities from 1997 to 2000.

The village school shows a 17 per cent increase in the number of 15-year-old pupils who gained five GCSE grades A to C or GVNQ equivalent over the last three years.

This year 54 per cent of the exam-sitters made the scores at the School Road venue.
