Singers for ringers

THE Oriel Singers from Cheltenham are in concert at All Saints Church, Evesham, on Saturday (7.30pm). The choir, twice a finalist in the BBC Sainsbury Choir of the Year competition, will present a programme of music by Elgar, Bach, lighter works and an organ solo. Tickets (£6) from Evesham Book Centre or on the door and include a glass of wine. Proceeds will go to the Bell Tower Carillon Appeal Fund.

All that glitters

ANDREW Logan shows a selection of his glass work in an exhibition at Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum. Glamorous Glittering Glass opens on Saturday and runs until January 13, Monday to Saturday, 10am until 5.20pm.

Revelatory tale

A TIPPLE too many, squabbles and astonishing revelations are all on the cards at Worcester Swan Theatre next week. Middle Ground Theatre Company performs The Holly and The Ivy, an absorbing human story set against a snowy Norfolk backdrop in Christmas 1947. The performances run from next Monday until November 25.
