AFTER a highly successful inaugural season the Backup Worcestershire Sunday Club Cricket League is set to be further strengthened next season by the inclusion of other leading clubs in the county.
Applications for membership have been accepted from from Worcester, Barnards Green and Malvern Ramblers, while Swindon have been invited to join the 2nd XI division.
Both Ombersley and Bretforton who only fielded 2nd XIs last season, have also entered the senior competition.
Section champions Pershore and Bretforton received their trophies at the league dinner.
