WITH their two wins from last weekend Worcester Norton Hockey Club Ladies first team have climbed to second in Midland League Division 'A' with a total of 12 points from five games.

Charnwood are three points in front and in third place, two points behind, are Matlock.

On Saturday Worcester will be looking to add to their total when they entertain local rivals Pickwick at Nunnery Wood (3pm).

Worcester Norton expect to be at full strength.

Worcester's second team are also at home against Pickwick seconds (12.00) and will hope to consolidate their mid-table position in Worcestershire Division One.

The youthful Worcester third team, who are riding high in Worc-estershire Division Two after last week's win, will look to keep the pressure on leaders Evesham with three points at Kings Heath.

On Sunday, Worcester first team have what will be their toughest game of the season and the biggest game the club has ever played when they meet National League Premier team, Leicester in the third round of the EHA Cup.

The match will take place at Birmingham University (12.30pm).

Leicester are at present in second place in the Premiership, and their squad currently contains 13 internationals, four of whom are in the present GB squad and two, Helen Richardson and Kirsty Bowden, have just returned from the Sydney Olympics.
