CLOWS Top angler Ben Anderson landed 17 rainbow trout to 2lb using a montana on the Masters Lake at Shatterford Fishery.

But the top angler of the week caught 18 to 2.5lb with a viva, also on the Masters, and a Worcester angler landed 12 to 2.5lb with a fritz on the same pool and the Wyre Dell.

A lure accounted for 11 to 1.5lb on the Wyre Dell.

With the recent rain, the nearly full Masters is equipped with shelters and hard surfaces, providing clean and dry fishing.

On the coarse scene, two mirror carp to 18lb 7oz combined with a common to 16lb was the catch for a fisherman using boilies on the Erics.

On the Stuarts Lake, one angler used meatballs to catch a mirror of 17lb 8oz and a catfish of 12lb 6oz.

A bag of 30-40lb of roach, perch, bream and carp was taken with worms on the Stella Lake. Most of this week's catches have been in the deep waters.
