TWO Vale youngsters hitched a lift with a very important person to make a flying visit to Evesham Country Park last weekend.
Michael and Corinne Brown and their mum Kim, accompanied Father Christmas when he arrived at the park to host his annual grotto.
The pair won the Journal's competition for the ride in the helicopter from Gloucester airfield with the man himself after answering a simple question about the park and its activities.
They were welcomed by a band and lots of activities such as face painting. Father Christmas will be in his grotto at weekends between now and Christmas.
