Evesham Utd U-13 5, St Johns 0

UNITED maintained their recent form with a five-star show against the Worcester-based Saints.

Evesham missed a series of early chances on a muddy pitch but their pressure finally told when Liam Burtenshaw squeezed in the opener from close-range.

Dean Kerr's header doubled a lead that should have been more as the Saints keeper kept United at bay with some fine stops.

However, the custodian was left helpless when Gareth Wolford embarked on a super solo run and finish to make it 3-0 and a similar individual effort from Daniel Rock and a shot from Kevin Miles finished off a top-class Evesham show.
