MAY I please through your columns say a huge and heartfelt "thank you" to all the good and hardy people of Stratford who turned out to our firework display. Despite atrocious weather, they crowded into the Rugby Club determined to brave the elements and have a good time. Stratford's Mayor, Councillor Juliet Short, lit the bonfire, hundreds of children, parents and friends cheered, were warmed by the fire and enjoyed the best firework show that Stratford has seen.
We have already ordered the fireworks for next year to ensure we continue to present the Display of the Year for the local community.Thank you all again for coming and see you next year!
