BOY racers are inflicting misery on residents living near a Kidderminster car park with loud music and revving of engines.

The youngsters are gathering in Vale Road car park and have been using it as a meeting place over a prolonged period of time.

Kidderminster police and Wyre Forest District Council have been flooded with complaints about anti-social behaviour from the youths.

Some of the young drivers have also been spotted racing around nearby streets and on and off the car park. Residents have been quizzed by police about the matter and asked what action should be taken.

Options include closing the car park.

High-profile policing from late August to mid September cut complaints.

Residents then met in the same month to discuss future action to solve the problems of noisy drivers.
