A SUCCESSFUL crime-busting initiative is set to be extended to target canals in Bromsgrove and Droitwich Spa.
Run between West Mercia Constabulary, Staffordshire Police and British Waterways, Boat Watch includes a computerised messaging system to combat crime along stretches of water. Due to the success of the scheme it will be run in force areas in the New Year.
