JASPER the Friendly Wasp made sure youngsters got a buzz out of a family fun day at Bromsgrove's re-opened Dolphin Centre.
Crowds flocked to the venue, in School Drive, on Saturday to join in the children's activity sessions in the sports hall.
These included a bouncy castle, balloon fun with a clown and free gifts from Jasper.
For water-lovers, there was a pool disco and inflatable equipment to jump on.
The centre re-opened two weeks ago after being gutted by fire earlier in the year. The event was held to give townsfolk the chance to see the new-look centre.
Acting manager John Godwin said: "It proved very popular and we were glad to welcome back the people of Bromsgrove."
