A MEMBER of the Redditch Advertiser sales team will be fishing for compliments as vocalist with band Neon Tetra at a gig at Tyler's Lock, Tardebigge on Friday.
Advertisement sales executive Suzanne Hewer and fellow band members Andy Lowe, Carl Meacham, Lee Halley and Paul Smith took their name from the bright red and blue tropical fish when they formed Neon Tetra in October 1999.
The Bromsgrove-based indie/rock band has a busy weekend ahead since it will also be recording a second CD and has another gig lined up at the Flapper and Firkin, Birmingham city centre, on Saturday, December 9.
Neon Tetra plays at the London Lane venue from 8.30pm and tickets cost £2.50 on the door. Special guest Andi Zapp will also be playing and a disco will follow until 1am.
