THE speaker at the November meeting was Tony Hamblin, who gave an interesting talk on ''Gardening for Wildlife'' and plenty of hints on how to encourage wildlife into gardens.
The slide show he presented of mainly birds and flowers was superb and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
Most members were surprised at the wide variety of birds that could be seen in gardens, with a little help from people.
The final meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, December 6, at 7.30pm at Wythall Village Hall, Alcester Road, Wythall.
This will be the Christmas party, when some members will entertain with a small ''cabaret''.
The first meeting of the new year will be on Wednesday, January 3, when Bob Bennett will talk about ''Gardening in Containers''.
