STUDLEY manager Mark Chambers has missed out on transfer target Ian Mitchell.

Bees boss Chambers was hoping to bring in the Solihull utility player, who is the brother of BKL assistant manager John Mitchell.

But Mitchell junior, who has fallen out of favour at Borough looks set to join Dr Martens Western rivals Redditch United.

The Studley chief has turned his attentions to a Midland Combination Premier striker who he was hoping to talk to this week.

The Bees are approaching full strength for the visit of struggling Bolehall Swifts on Saturday (ko 2.45pm) after the rains washed out three consecutive fixtures.

The Birmingham Senior Cup clash at home to Dr Martens Western outfit Atherstone United, called off last week has been rearranged for Tuesday (ko 7.45pm).

The trip to Southam at the weekend was rained off and tonight's (Wednesday) trip to Handrahan Timbers has been postponed because the Wall Heath side's FA Vase match against Bridgnorth on Saturday was rained off and rearranged for last night.

Midfielders Steve Duncan (back), Ian Donegan (hamstring) and Nick Mowl (ankle) should be available and defender Craig Gillett is back after suspension.
