I WOULD like to express my admiration and thanks to all the people of Bromsgrove, in fact some 5,000 people, who showed the true spirit of Dunkirk by turning out on such a wet evening for our Bonfire Night celebrations on Sunday November 5.
I understand DJ Carlos, from Heart FM, has expressed on the radio his admiration for such a splendid display.
He thanked, as indeed I do, Bromsgrove District Council's leisure and depot services for the hard work and effort put in, for many months, arranging this popular event.
