BROMSGROVE Seconds maintained their impressive home record with a convincing 43-5 win over Lichfield Seconds on Saturday.
Playing on a heavy pitch it was pleasing to see both sides attempting to play running rugby. 'Groves pack of forwards had an excellent afternoon and were always quicker to the breakdown.
Not to be out done, the backs managed to hold on to the ball and ran in four tries from Andy Bray, Newman and two from Gauder. Other try scores were Clarke and two from Hastings. Mounter had a fine afternoon with the boot converting four of the tries.
Results: Lichfield Thirds 21 Bromsgrove Thirds 0; Bromsgrove Fourths 3 Camp Hill Fourths 12; Bromsgrove Crusaders 43 Lichfield Fourths 8.
