REDDITCH Regents' hopes of blooding twin towers Andy Swift and Lee Dowling have again been dashed after the new signing fractured his elbow in training.

Coach Dave Bradshaw has been waiting to play 6ft 5ins Swift alongside 6ft 6ins forward Lee Dowling but Swift, who also plays for Bromsgrove BC and Birmingham Bullets under 20s, will be sidelined for at least three weeks after chipping a bone in his left arm. The new boy made an impressive debut last week.

Dowling, who was bedridden by flu last week rejoined the squad for the 82-65 win over Old Sils.

Swift is targeting the Rosebowl tie against visitors Birmingham University on Sunday, December 3 for his comeback.

The Regents coach hopes to have two spot Lewis Bradshaw back for the trip to Church Bridge on Thursday, November 23 (tip-off 8.15pm) after personal commitments. But the holidaying coach will miss the match and leave Brian Knowles in sole charge of team affairs. And two spot Tony Hobday is doubtful with work commitments.

Table-toppers Redditch Regals visit Atherstone Aztecs on Sunday (tip-off 10.30am). The ladies' visit to Aston University tomorrow (Thursday) has been cancelled after their opponents pulled out of the league.
