WORCESTER City duo Martin Weir and Carl Tranter will continue their road to fitness by playing in tonight's Central Conference League Cup clash with Hereford United at St George's Lane (7.45).
The pair both came on as substitutes during Monday's Dr Martens Cup victory over Western Division Blakenall and could figure in Saturday's league game at Stafford if they come through tonight's game without problems.
Manager John Barton said: "We will see how the players go tonight and at training tomorrow."
Hereford will also field a strong squad which will include strikers Steve Piearce and James Wall as well as midfielder John Snape and defender Matt Clarke.
