A GROUND-BREAKING conference aiming to raise awareness of young children with speech difficulties is being held in Droitwich Spa.
The Chateau Impney Hotel, off Bromsgrove Road, is hosting the meeting on Tuesday November 21.
Parents, headteachers, speech language experts, and health and education professionals are among those expected to attend.
There will be a discussion about meeting the needs of youngsters with communication difficulties and exhibitions from relevant charities.
Worcestershire County Council's education chief, Julien Kramer, said: "I welcome this opportunity to share ideas with other people on how we can improve services to children with speech, language and communication needs.
"It is important to identify these needs at the earliest opportunity, for parents and professionals to learn from each other and influence the way in which support is provided."
