I WAS so upset to read that Wyre Forest District Council is considering demolishing the Market Street car park as part of a plan to move Kidderminster College from Aggborough.
The Market Street car park is most convenient for the town centre, especially for old people who can't walk very far.
As for the college, that is far better where it is. The students are young and can easily walk up Hoo Road or Comberton Hill.
I would urge all readers who will be affected by this move to contact their councillors and do all they can to get the plan scrapped.
Like the rest of us, the town centre shops are being crippled by exorbitant rents and taxes and if the car park is removed, many more will have to close.
