PEOPLE interested in learning about Worcestershire's role in the last war can find out more at a one day conference being organised by the county's Record Office.
Worcestershire and the Second World War takes place in the council chamber at County Hall on Saturday and the talks will reflect on how the war effected ordinary people in the county.
Speakers will talk about various aspects of the war, including the Women's Land Army, Malvern's role in the development of radar and a personal account of the evacuation of Dunkirk.
The conference will also include a book-stall and information about contacts and historical societies.
For more details, or to book a place which costs £15 or £10 without lunch, call the record office on 01905 766352.
