Pinley 3 Alcester 62
Pinley started the game with only 13 men and by the time their 14th arrived the visitors were twelve points up.
Second team skipper, Steve Wade opened the scoring before Mick Weaver bustled over from the back of the scrum.
Winger Wade added a second try before Pinley were reduced to 13 again as a player hobbled off.
Left wing Martin Sergeant got in on the act and crossed for Alcester's fourth try, before stand-in skipper Matt Gwynn added a brace, the second courtesy of an intelligent dummy which foxed the depleted hosts.
Alcester led 38-0 at half-time, with Gwynn converting four from six.
Pinley started the second half in determined fashion and despite their lack of numbers, nearly forced a try during a ten minute spell when Alcester were pinned back in their own 22.
The performance of Pinley's pack in particular deserved a score on the board, but their only reward was a penalty after Dickie Moore had crossed to increase Alcester's lead.
Sidelined club captain Andy Flynn brought on Nev Teasdale, Tony Williams and Chris Hall to replace Moore, Weaver and Scott Carmichael.
The introduction of Teasdale steadied the scrum and Alcester started to push their hosts back at will creating opportunities for their backs to run.
Hall marked his introduction with a try and Sergeant added his second before flanker James Doyle completed the scoring after eluding several tackles.
Gwynn had converted six from 10.
