REDDITCH folk turned out in their hundreds to remember those who fell in the bloody battles of the last century.
The annual Remembrance Day parade on Sunday saw veterans march from Royal British Legion branch headquarters in Easemore Road, past a salute at Redditch Town Hall and up to St Stephen's Church.
The band of the Air Training Corps led the procession, which included hundreds of veterans.
Redditch Sea Cadets mounted a guard around the cross of remembrance in Church Green and Canon David Salt, of St Stephen's, led the service.
Readings were given by Ken Draper, county chairman of the Royal British Legion, and Marguerite Day, secretary of the Women's Royal British Legion in Redditch.
Villages around Redditch also marked the day with their own services, including Studley and Astwood Bank.
