FOR those who missed it, Redditch Council exhibited the options for the Studley bypass for three days at the town hall, starting on Wednesday, November 1.
I read about it in the Advertiser on the same day it started.
The residents of Studley were informed well in advance by their council and their exhibition included a Saturday for those who work during the week.
I read with dismay that a Redditch Council spokesman said we should vote for the original bypass option. This option would bring the bypass within view of Winyates Green and it would seriously impact on air quality and noise.
The spokesman will be aware Warwickshire has sought planning permission to build two access roads from the lane in Winyates Green to service more than 250 houses that Warwickshire also want to build on the wildflower meadow that this bypass option cuts through.
The residents of Winyates Green would welcome the chance to express their opinion. The opinion given was that of the council, not of the residents they are supposed to represent.
