A LOCAL chap told me that my letter (You Say, November 6) was nonsense. He said in a true democracy, people should be free to take whatever drugs they like.
I replied that the problem with cocaine and heroine was that they regularly destroyed minds and quite often caused death. Should people be free to do this to themselves?
