KIDDERMINSTER Harriers manager Jan Molby expects to complete a deal later this week which will keep striker John Durnin at Aggborough for the rest of the season.

The 35-year-old former Oxford United and Portsmouth campaigner has been on a month long contract which expired after Saturday's defeat at Hartlepool.

Durnin is understood to have agreed personal terms and a deal is set to be finalised once Molby has contacted Harriers chairman Lionel Newton who is on holiday.

Since linking up with Kidderminster, Durnin, freed by Carlise United in the summer, has scored four goals in six games.

Meanwhile, Moor Green are interested in Harriers transfer-listed defender Steve Pope.
