POLICE have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a young woman's body in Rashwood, near Droitwich.
A man walking his dog in a country lane found the woman, who has not yet been named, at 8.30am on Sunday.
Officers have begun a detailed examination of the crime scene and the inquiry is being led by DS Mel Shore, of West Mercia CID.
A post-mortem was due to take place on Sunday night.
