EVESHAM Swimming Club travelled to Oldbury to compete in their annual Trophy Gala.

The 11 and under boys team of Harvey Simms, Will Gayton, Andrew Dagnall and Patrick Hughes achieved first places in both their medley and relay team events.

Dagnall then went on to achieve a first place in the individual freestyle with Simms and Gayton also touching first in the backstroke and breaststroke respectively.

Simms also swam well to achieve a second place in the individual butterfly event.

The 11 and under girls medley relay team consisting of Natalie Stockdale, Anna Chilvers, Lucy Kibler and Holly Burton achieved a fine second place.

Burton and Stockdale both then swam up an age group in the 11 and under to achieve second places in both the individual backstroke and butterfly events respectively.

In the 15 and under age group breaststrokers Holly Carter and Callum Black achieved runner-up places.

Adrian Mayhew touched second in his individual butterfly and freestyle Open events with Scott Walford achieving second in the Open Individual Medley.

The Open Men's medley relay team saw the duo joined by Callum and Johnathan Monks for another second spot.

Evesham touched second in the finale - the cannon - with Holly Burton, Will Gayton, Cherrie Gayton, Andrew Dagnall, Holly Carter, Johnathan Monks, Kate Bunn and Adrian Mayhew swimming superbly.
