WYRE Piddle Triple X are the early leaders of the H20 Plumbing and Heat-ing Division of the Eve-sham and District Asso- ciation, although the chasing sides all have games in hand.

Adam Monks, Jonathan Monks and Craig Pitcher beat clubmates Red Devils and SDM Veela both 5-0 in their first two matches before they had a much harder match against SDM Wizards.

Alan Chung beat both Jonathan Monks and Pitcher who in turn both beat Sindri Burkett. Adam Monks then teamed up with Pitcher to take the doubles and the match 21-19, 21-15 for a 3-2 win.

The Triple X slipped up when they entertained Littleton Flirts. Junior girls singles champion Emma Talbot beat Jon Monks and Pitcher and together with Eleanor Lasota took the doubles to see the Flirts home 3-2.

Second-placed Littleton Warriors also had 5-0 victories over SDM Veela and Wyre Piddle Red Devils and a 3-2 win over Wyre Piddle QT.

James Byrne beat Adam Townsend 24-22 in the third and Charles Fisher two straight only for Townsend and Fisher to level matters by beating Edward Talbot.

Talbot had the last laugh teaming up with Byrne to win the doubles 27-25, 19-21, 21-16.

Third-placed Littleton Athletic look the team to watch with three wins out of three including victories over both the sides above them.

Martin Brown and And-rew Taylor swept SDM Wizards aside 5-0 and won two singles each against clubmates Warr-iors.

Phil and Edward Talbot picked up one point beating Brown and Rebecca Talbot 21-13, 15-21, 21-19 in the doubles.

Brown and Taylor then cruised to a 5-0 victory over league leaders Triple X - all games won two straight.

Alan Chung and Oliver Bailey from SDM Wizards beat Littleton Flirts 5-0 who in turn beat SDM Veela by the same score.

Charles Fisher was the star of Wyre Piddle QTs 3-2 victory over club mates Red Devils.

He won his two singles and then in company with Adam Townsend beat younger brother David Fisher and Leon Williams 21-16, 21-19 in the doubles to secure the four points.
